to say that they mistrusted power and what having unopposed power can do to a person or a group of people Mistrusted power. I'll go along with that - but that does include government of course. The Tea Party people don't have a clue, they represent democracy at its worst, they are an unruly, uneducated mob I couldn't disagree more. I was at a political party last night where people from across the spectrum are invited to go through the ballet and make their case who/what they are voting for. Lots on Initiatives in Washington State this year. The Tea Party was represented by two people - a husband and wife. He and I argued extensively and his arguments were extremely well presented. I suspect on an IQ basis he was the smartest man in the room. You are way WAY wrong to think these people are uneducated. Do not mistake their choice of a few wackos as being representative of their smarts. That has been the problem with both democrats and republicans - they have way underestimated this group.
