One would think that the announcement next week of their new network and programing would have a positive impact on the stock price. I think that if someone wanted to accumulate stock that any easy way to accomplish this is to downgrade. Shake it out from loose hands. I am sure anyone with a large holding would not downgrade it, would they? On the other hand if you had a large position, and wanted to get the last bounce out of it, why not recommend it? These recommendations are easy to justify on either side. Many times I see one house recommending and another at the same time downgrading. It is usually all meaningless long term. I view recommendations as self serving. BTW, PXN has a list of recent analyst recommendations on their web site, www.paxson.com.
