I thought "The Rally to Restore Sanity" was a dud. They drew a lot of people, but the show was not well done. A couple of notes:

1. Who was worried about political content, besides the GOP, the Democrats and The Teabaggers? There was close to zero political content.

2. The comedy and the guest stars were retreads from The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Some of the music was good, though Colbert cut off Cat Stevens and "Peace Train." Ozzy Osborne has never been a vocalist, but he was horrible on stage, yesterday. Mavis Staples was good, but her music bores me. The pre-filmed segments were downright awful.

3. Despite all that, the audience seemed to be having a great time. I would have been to if I'd been there. It's just that the stuff presented was not good enough for tv.

4. Rating: Better than Jon Stewart's interview with the President, not as good as Colbert's scadalous appearance before Congress.
