I think commodities will be ok. The 50% decline in shares of wilmington trust as they announced big losses and a forced merger with M&T bank, as well as the announcement of a likely bankruptcy filing for abk, don't auger well for financials but do for gold and silver and related entities.

I read some of PMICO's bill Gross' diatribe about the fed. I have visions of a catastrophe as bondholders all try to head for the fire exit at the same time.
