Corrupt, yes, but not nearly as corrupt as Mexican law enforcement, the fakelaki system that brings down a country's economy, the Russian businessmenyi who hijacked multi billion dollar state enterprises, the way business is done in Lagos, etc. You ain't seen nothin yet.

DU -nasty stuff, been around since the Vietnam era, but no real occasion to use it until 1991 (vs.Iraq). AFAIK, we didn't expend much ammo in Grenada, Panama, etc. Second only to abandoned minefields for damage after the war is over.
