The housing bubble isn't even on the radar in Arizona, though it ought to be. We know who brought us that shit. Arizona has been right wing forever. It is truly the Western branch of the South. Home to Goldwater and McCain, 2 multimillionaire GOP presidential aspirants who share the philosophy of starving government, with a special emphasis on defunding education since kids can't vote. The real swinger this year is the GOP anti-Mexican bill, SB1070, and how it is being used as a litmus test for all candidates. Iffen y'aint fer 1070, yer a damn Mexican lovin, unAmerican liberal commie pinko and we ain't votin fer ya. The fact that 1070 will fail to pass Constitutional muster is irrelevant since that will be sorted out after the election...
