Sad news. Keith Olberman is going to suspend the "Worst Person in the World" segment on his nighttime show on MSNBC. That is the only reason I watch the show.

Olberman is trying to take up Jon Stewart's advice to get the hate off cable. He is hoping that Hate Radio and Fox Hate and Lies News will follow suit. Hah! Fat chance. These creeps may be evil, but they know how to market to the rubes. Including me. <G> Cable is not the place for serious discussion. It's the place for hate and smears and fictional news.

One question: Since when is Jon Stewart's mantra and accompanying song, "GFY Fox News" a message of hope and positive discourse? Funny? Yes. Right on the money? Yes. Journalism at its civil best? Not exactly. <G>
