your question: when we're looking at resistance immediately overhead

Isn't one of the rules of technical analysis:

The older the resistance point, the less energy it has?

How many 1980-1983 bulls do you suppose are still around just itching to "breakeven" at $25US ? (so they can put their proceeds into 10% plus bonds)

secondly, how verifiable is that comment when you consider the energy at the historic $800 gold resistance level?, the then supposed $1000 round number resistance.

thirdly, looking at it from a $US centric point puts a lot of emphasis on the VALUE of $25 in US currency relative to exchange rates 30 years ago...never mind the interest rate costs of holding silver then vs today...

All just food for thought... ;)

or is it just a passing attraction speed bump on the adventure to newfound territory?
