Companies in production are perceived much differently than companies with products not yet in production. I am among the "call to action" shareholders. I want Vivus to respond in an appropriate fashion and I identified 4 potential "action" avenues. There are many more. Let's consider your good idea to launch an ad campaign now as a go (setting aside the supply issue.) The interesting thing about ad campaigns is that they have the power to position products in our minds when properly executed frequently enough in front of the correct demo. Here's proof. Try not to complete these statements! Have you driven a _____ lately? Two all beef patties,______ sauce.... This Bud's for____......... (Now for us oldsters, let's go way back...) Crest has been shown to be an effective_________.... I'd walk a mile for a ______...... Plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a ________.... I'd rather fight than ________! Put a _____ in your tank!
