Well it might be a wrench in the works for the country- since the republicans seem to think they can leverage their win by being uncooperative, but I think this will be an excellent set up to a dem presidential win in 2012. So I'm fairly chipper this evening. I'm a partisan, and not a centrist, so I'm interested in the democrats winning, in the long term, and keeping the really important posts- like the presidency. In terms of long term strategy, with the reps in charge of obstructionism, who is the electorate going to blame in 2012? I think we know the answer. :-) I voted for Obama because I wanted supreme court picks I could believe in. That's still the goal for me.
