The jobs will come. The economy will get better next year. The question will be, who will get credit for a better economy and a falling deficit? Those things have already begun to happen, they would have happened whether the Rs got the House or not, IMHO. But, as I've said before, that detail won't prevent them from taking credit where credit isn't due. And others will say that it was due to divided govt that was paralyzed. Well, govt has been effectively paralyzed now for 2 years, with only a couple of major exceptions, thanks to the rules of the Senate.

It will all probably come down to who has the best political gasbag skills. And, of course, who has the most money.
