Well, I can't say that I know who "the great one" is, or whether or not he/she would put forward adequately profound pronouncements that would provide a meaningful contribution to the debate.
In addition I can't believe you're serious when you proclaim that "Everyone of those millions of people who voted Republican are total morons, ruled by their emotions who are just fearful, racists who simply could not be convinced by logic."
That's a sweeping statement, in the extreme, and one that I very much doubt you could substantiate or prove with any degree of confidence (Of course, it could also be a tongue-in-cheek remark).
There are, I'm sure, many Republicans and Democrats out there who are well enough informed to make a meaningful contribution at election time. They may have different opinions, demands and preferences, but that's part of what a democratic system and process is all about. In addition, the majority will must also be respected and given reign.
The political result may not always be to one's liking, but there's always a next time. And there's nothing stopping you, or anyone else, from getting out there to try and make a difference. At least the US society enables one to do that, which is more than can be said for other undemocratic regions elsewhere. |
