The equation was meant as a a relative statement

But what one individual needs to buy, is the VERY SAME THING that someone else owns and needs to sell.

So obviously not all things we need will not necessarily inflate, just as all things that people own will not necessarily deflate.

It all depends on the items we're talking about.
