You are simply projecting your own flawed processing system onto me. I haven't heard either of these spokespersons or read their opinions, except for Palin years ago when she was a candidate. You lash out at me in this manner often when I express MY opinion rather than respond to the content. The reason is quite obvious, you only know about right/left partisan talking points and filter everything as such because you lack the confidence or imagination it would take to express a genuine thought of your own, in spite of repeated encouragement from me and others to do so.
I know what makes sense and what doesn't make sense. When you start spouting words like "the nanny state", I know you are talking your ideological playbook. Just because it isn't partisan doesn't make it any less corrupted and any less wrong. The last thing we have in this country is a nanny state. In fact, its more a state closer to fascism....a welding of gov't and corp. together.

Washington has been a barrier to the people of the USA who know how to work together and how to get things done in spite of their differences. Congress does not and you are one of the major promoters of the partisan polarization that has been bringing ruin to the greatest society the world has ever known.

This is why the people have voted out the government in power over the last few election cycles and will continue to do so until or unless the 'representatives' learn what it means to represent them. Of course the economy sucks and they are unhappy about it. But your emphasis on government fixing the economy for us dopey idiots is ludicrous. An economy is made strong by industrious innovative productivity that brings value to the land and it's society. Human growth is energizing, healthy, and necessary to develop a strong economy...and not possible with attitudes like yours. The message being sent loud and clear is get out of the way, or the people will remove you. Power to the people, oh yeah!!!
