Ryan, you are incorrect I'm afraid. Nothing illegal is going on here. Except for the naked shorting. You don't seem to be taking into account the fact that not all the shares owned by this group of investors is in cert form yet, due to the delays: change in TA and broker delays, etc. Since you are now out of this stock and have expressed your opinion, is there further need now for you to repeat it?
