I would not short the dollar. Zimbabwe actually printed physical dollars and spent them or gave them to the people. That is real printing. The Fed is just putting deposits in thebanks account who sell the Fed these bonds and notes. There the money sits so far. And the Fed can reverse this quickly. So there will be no debasement IMO. This was done for confidence reasons and will not have much effect except peoples attitudes that there will be no deflation.
