Flip, The reasons this thread degenerated are two.
1) First, we all lost a lot of money at some point and blew off steam together, making things a bit more informal than normal, which was good.
2) THERE IS NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT THIS LOUSY COMPANY other than that it is a VERY BAD investment at any price and you should STAY AWAY. Once you have said that, there is little more to add, so people are kinda just shootin the breeze.
Yes, some people try to micro-analyze yesterday's pointless news )while others of us are busy making tomorrow's news), but all that discussion has little to do with investing in this company, because no matter how you look at it, COREL IS A LOUSY INVESTMENT. Just take in this point and move on to better stocks, unless you want to hang around and shoot the breeze with the rest of us.
I do agree, though, that Yellow Shoes should stay away since he gives opinions without doing research on them, and he has deliberately distorted the record of my views on Corel in an attempt to say that I am "incompetent." Anyone who has even glanced at this thread would know that I was panning Corel months ago, so it was easy to see through Yellow Shoes' little game.
Also, he has no moral character, given that he was advising people to stay away from the lawsuit against Corel because there MIGHT be some personal downside. What a wimp! In the fight between right and wrong, where everyone has to take a stand sooner or later, he runs and hides! Everyone should be aware of these things when reading his posts.
