Making money would be more fun if the money itself were not doomed.

I "made" as much today as the entire (nominal) price I paid for my house in 1977. I put down a 40% deposit but it still took about 25 years of scrimping to pay off the mortgage.

All this economic and political stuff makes me feel deranged. Or maybe it's just the cold I feel coming on.
