I cannot imagine any humanist (nor any human person having the slightest desire to associate their values, their dignity, and their common humanity with the primitive, brutal, immoral, sick, and repugnant “morality” espoused in those savage old myths and tribal superstitions. What human being wants to exalt rape, genocide, incest, and all that biblical “morality”?? Martin Luther and Hitler and the Nazis had the Christian morality in shovels and spades.
