Ethanol mandates are running on borrowed time. Opposition runs across the spectrum. Even a large number of enviro outfits are opposed to corn ethanol. I want ethanol gone. It reduces fuel mileage and damages engines. I need to rebuild the carburetors on my BMW motorcycle this winter because ethanol in gasoline damaged (read: ate through) the rubber o-rings and seals (which further reduced mileage by about 25%).
