I'll admit that attirbution of gender to the Creator is just a matter of how we humans think about things.

And exactly how do you draw inferences about a god from what you perceive is design by intent????

The facts that the universe's laws and characteristics are very finely tuned such that life can exist and that life is based on at least one information encoding system invite an inference that the Creator wants life to exist. Further the emergence of intelligent self-conscious life possessing free will is, I believe, such an unlikely and unnatural thing, that that too must be something the Creator wanted.
