Bush was, by any reasonable measure, one of the great presidents of our time. He made some mistakes, but relatively few.

One of the. Biggest mistakes was not defending himself from attacks by those who don't take into account the circumstances under which he served. No president since fdr faced problems of this magnitude.

And he did a great j ob of handling them for the most part.
