Puzzler....

If I were you I would look to No Script for clues.

I too am running XP, latest FF (3.6.12), AdBlock 1.31 (free ver., not the plus), NoScript 2.04, and (once I tell it to allow scripting at Gallup.com) everything loaded A-OK.

Would be happy to capture the Gallup chart as a screen capture (GIF or JPG or something similarly easy to view) and then upload it to a free file sharing site like .IO or something, or just email it. If you want just sent a PM with particulars.

Re: "An election is a poll, just one with a different type of question, and a much larger sample, and more actual impact in most cases."

Ha!

Well, I must say that THAT is a unique and personal interpretation... but I'm afraid that it violates the very fundamental principle that underlies *all* efforts at scientific polling. That's because people choosing to vote are a "self-selected" sample... (and not a randomly selected or scientific one).

Bird of a different feather.

Still... the only result that counts is the snap-shot that is taken on election day. <g>
