It is silly to blame presidents for jobs or lack of same. What they should be blamed for is lack of honesty with the American people. Neither Bush nor Obama have led the discussion of our greatest problem, the effect of globalization on the movement of jobs from high salary areas, the US, to low salary areas, most of the rest of the world. I cringe every time I hear that education must be the means to stem the outflow of jobs. As if low salary areas don't or can't educate as well as we can.

Now, we have the delusional element that thinks lower taxes, smaller government, and less regulation will be the solution. Two years ago, I said, "the stench of Bush was unmistakable and overwhelming!" Today, overwhelming is still true. We haven't recovered from his damage. Ironically, unmistakable is not true! In many minds the stench has been transferred from Bush to Obama. These same minds don't seem to remember that we had lower taxes and less regulation under Bush and Bush didn't allow the idea of smaller government to prevent him from bailing out the financial community. Smaller government is only designed to prevent government help to people without jobs, homes, or health care.

"Every day George W. Bush spoke to Jesus and every day Jesus told him to take from the poor and give to the rich!"
