Yeah, I admit it can be entertaining...up to a point, but in the final analysis - it's just sad. I have no sympathy for the con-men who turn a buck off religion (be it a Catholic priest or one of those loathsome televangelists), but I pity their victims. I couldn't imagine going through my entire life ignorant, fearful, and misinformed. I guess I can debate a bible-thumper for "fun"...if my idea of fun was a war of words with an opponent whose rhetorical gymnastics are better suited for the Special Olympics.
