The alternative to a moderate or RINO would probably be a Democrat.

then let it be a democrat. at least the choice would be genuine, with a conservative to run against. if they want a liberal, that's ok as long as they're honest about it. i just don't want liberals blaming conservatives for economic disaster because RINOs (liberals) are in power. if they want to be 'moderate' (socialist lite), then let them run as democrats instead of republicans. give people a real choice instead of a fake one. let's have a real difference between the two major parties again. let's have the republicans return to fiscal conservatism, and let the democrats keep their socialism.
