Good morning
You are using an example of moral intuition, which I do not dispute. But I have found in my travels that extending or elaborating moral intuition into something codified is, at very best, fraught.

Saying that there are many things that'll get an immediate and impassioned response from me along the lines of "that ain't right!!" is safely correct. But it is a handful of sand ... in its obviousness lies its general lack of utility. It isn't the mountain. Show me the mountain! That would be the basis from which moral law derives, and allow me to posit one more premise. "Because someOne said so" is out of bounds.
cheers js
