My take is that unless they've been using OpenROUTE software before, that this is a major overhaul of their routing software. And that's scary, anytime you have a complete change in software. Their old software must really be bad for them to throw it out. I don't know anything about interoperability with other routers. I thought routing protocols were all standards based.
