I can speculate that we'd be at DOW 3k now and unemployment at well over 25% if drastic action was not taken to avert a 1930-32 bloodbath. Folks have no clue how bad it would have been if we had tea bagger types at the controls anytime the past 2.5 years. Even GWB and Paulson need to be commended for doing the right thing..
