Dear J.F. I was thinking along those lines as well. To take a tax loss one must have made profits. The interuption of this years junior market by Bre-X and the POG decline would on surface appear to lessen the impact of tax loss selling this year. And the recent correction on the big markets has limited the amount of profits made on blue chips as well.

If there is any person with a different view on this, especially as it pertains to Winspear, please post.
