My suspicion is that a year nearly everyone will realize she is right on the food inflation issue.

Just to keep matters clear, that's not all what she is asserting (it's certainly not an argument she makes, just an assertion). She's asserting that inflation is here now, given she sees herself paying more for groceries. It's another illustration of the facts be damned when she refuses to acknowledge the aggregate inflation numbers don't show it.

As for the future, the only bromide that leaps to mind is that one that says a broken clock is right twice a day.
