You miss it entirely, I think. Food is the first prerogative of all civilizations seeking new worlds. Food and air. They would have no interest in how we chop trees or milk cows. They would already know that if they were able to cross space...

But would we make a good lobster? I suppose so...

They would be no more like us than a spider is like us: They would think they were the ultimate thing and they would think flies (and everything else) were given to them for their pleasure and control.

And they might look and act JUST like a spider. Good luck!!
