Yeah, I'm sure I could have. :)

To be honest, I've been investing on my own for over 10 years and I've never owned MSFT, INTC, and/or CSCO until the last few months. I just finally feel like they've got solid valuations on an absolute and relative basis and so I'm adding.
So, I'm looking forward to the long-term from today rather than over the last two years when I felt other stocks had better risk/rewards.
