No. You are an astrophysicist - so you understand that while gravitational theory provides a predictive model for the behavior of gravity...gravity is a fact. Same applies to evolution. The change in inheritable traits of a given population of organisms through succeeding generations is fact. Evolutionary theory provides the model. By the way...where did you get your degree in astrophysics from and what year did you graduate?
