I am aware of the government claims regarding the costs of administration of medicare. However, I do not think they are including the cost of the Fraud Waste and Abuse. I think they would do better to pay a little more in Adminstration costs and cut the Fraud, Waste and Abuse. On the other hand given the general level of incompetence in the Government, I may be wrong they may spend more trying to correct the problem than the problem costs.
