I finally got to speak with one of the reps for the IMED division of AMA who initially told me about the stock last year. He told me that the deal is a good one in that the product line is expanded quite a bit but there is some redundancy now in the product line they will have to work out. The rep seemed worried about his job as he felt they would not need as many salesmen for the combined company. The stock is holding up OK and the deal just got SEC approval for the merger. I think I will just hold on and see what happens.
