Pancho, Mobius may be smart but I doubt he's worth a premium over NAV, so I have been short EMF for some time as a hedge of other emerging market investments. As for risk reduction through international investing, see this week's Economist, p. 84 -- long-term positive correlation across countries averaging only 0.5, but correlation growing within regions. For Europe, you have to pick pretty well to beat buying the closed-end funds at present discounts, IMHO. -- Shoe
