If you really want to make comparisons, BC, then the Saudi's would apologize for making a mistake, and they would make financial restitution to the families. That's what Israel did following the attack on the Liberty, which, due to communications break downs, was where it should not have been during the Six Day War when it was taken for an enemy vessel. Check you facts. The Liberty was not supposed to be where it was, and both sides in the war were assured the US and a few other countries did not have forces near the war zone.

This version of events is so well documented, it is the first time there was ever an attack on a US vessel that did not result in a congressional investigation.

I recall the incident quite well, as I was fairly nearby and on active duty in the US Army, and "on alert" during the war.

But, if you just happen to be inclined to see Israel as evil under any circumstance, whatever I or anyone else can say will not change your perspective on this or any other incident.
