Little you realize McCain Feingold was bipartisan. I checked the voting record. Maybe I'm not the one in the alternate reality... And as for hate crimes, there is bipartisan support for those too. I would agree that wingers don't like most of those things, but wingers don't speak for all conservatives - much as they wish they did. I don't know about the food laws which are city by city. Don't conservative claim to love local laws? I guess they don't love them when the laws aren't what they want. No surprise there.
