Triplet codons are not designated by chemical reactions. In theory, codons could be composed of one, two, four or more nucleic bases. Again to code thesis....if I take 5-10 chemical elements I can arrange them to produce 100's of different compounds and no ID was needed.... If a chemist arranged elements into compounds, the chemist would be the intelligent designer. So what you wrote would be an example of ID. Except of course that you worded it "if I". It seems you're acknowledging that if YOU designed something it wouldn't be an example of intelligent design. I think we all realize why. ------------------------------------- You still don't seem to recognize the genetic code is a code. Something is designated as signifying something else .... not as a result of a physical, chemical, biological law. Just like "B" denotes (stands for) a particular sound, a particular codon denotes (stands for) a particular amino acid or the message "STOP".
