I think he's a junior, though it's kind of hard to tell. He spent some time at Florida, but was redshirted after getting hurt against Hawaii. Then he won the junior college national championship at Blinn College. Then he did a bit of jail time for buying a stolen laptop. Then he started at Auburn this year. My guess is that he would certainly be drafted if he gets disqualified. He might get more money with a Heisman Trophy and a BCS championship, because some teams want "character." But most teams want talent. So far, it looks like the fates are conspiring to destroy number one teams that are not TCU or Boise State. Auburn could see their season turn to dust and Oregon is not going to have a cakewalk at Cal or Oregon State. Cal has been horrible on the road, but awesome at home. Oregon State has improved all year.
