You Westerners are really thin skinned about that East West stuff.I'm an immigrant to Ontario since 1967 and I do think think the Easterners give flying hoots about the West.I remember our farmers sending hay gratis to help out in the West as an example.The boot is on the other foot now with Harper forgetting he is supposed to be PM of all of Canada not just the West. I remember on my first visits to Calgary and the West being astounded at how the Westerners thought the Easterners regarded them.Just not reality , but a kind of rural myth. It's the same with Quebec.I believe the country is a lot better off united.Sure there are times when short term any one region might do better on its own but then changes happen and suddenly it's in deep doodoo and looking for help Anyway I just want you to know that we love you guys,although I don't expect you to believe me.
