Leviticus is Old Testament. Remember, Christ himself made castigations against OT Judaic law and practices and prevented the stoning of the adulteress. Rick Warren is a typical New Testament Christian, and as such is a follower of Christ's teachings and example. In no way would he feel compelled to support stoning someone to death. Quite the opposite, actually.
