"GM should have gone bankrupt" They did go bankrupt and did some restructuring - like getting rid of a few brands and supposedly lowering their production costs. Agree government shouldn't be dictating what types of cars they should build. Maybe if the federal government keeps killing the dollar and driving up gas prices, the economics of hybrids, etc. will get better.
