People please. This IS a free country, and we are guaranteed the right to say whatever we want.
SO, I must say this. I am not a veteran, but it is a damn shame that you, Peter S. dare
call the fighting men and women(with few exception) who allowed you to be where you are today, dorks.
Maybe we should put your ass into a wet plastic bag, 4 feet into the ground, with god knows what crawling all around, and never knowing
when the bullet might come to end your life, or the long sharp knife is going to slice your throat ear to ear. Oh, and when you are done
living that nightmare for anywhere from a couple months to several years, day in and day out, we'll
chastise you, not give you a job, throw you out on the street, and step over you as we pass by in our new coat.
I for one like the fact that I know I can sleep every night in my own bed in a democracy where I have freedoms
that other countries can only wish they had. Why? Because my brothers and sisters slept in those
wet plastic bags in the cold, wet ground, never knowing if/when the death strike may come. To them and all in the armed forces,
I salute you.
