They key to all the desert dirts is who took the samples
and how were they handled. 800 selected samples is the key.
Who selected them, where did they come from and how where they
handled? Why did two companies including Inco take ore samples
and find negligible values?

If they were from company drilled samples and had been in a
warehouse for a long time then anybody could be fooled by them.
I am sure Normet in Australia had all the qualifications when
they sayed and looked at the Bre-X samples. But they were not
kosher were they? Did Thomas drill the property? Did he sequester
the samples under lock and key?
