If you can't figure out that the Fed/Treasury is playing a game of chicken with Bejing over the trade deficit and pegging the Yuan to the Dollar, then you're not seeing what game is being played. Warfare is ALWAYS economic before it's military. And China has been waging a mercantilist economic war against the US for years now and it's coming to a head. How big are the Chinese holdings of US T-Bills? And how much has the Fed pledged in repurchase agreements over the next 6 months. Coincidence? Hawk
