There is some inflation, but it's definitely not in
the hyper range. Nevertheless, as we follow the Brits,
who are reportedly worse off, I would expect inflation to pick
up some.

They will also have to cut government jobs and benefits
(social security - medicare)

In other words, we are quite a bit worse off than Japan in
the 90-s, which, in part due to a different culture, in part
due to government spending managed to keep the jobs during
the lost decade. We are looking at a lost decade with lost
jobs.
