Whenever I bring up the BS at the airports -- scanners don't matter because the tear istas will just enter at the thousands of locations where they ain't -- people just act like I'm crazy. "Mooooo!" I think they mean to say.

The H.S. M.O. is simple -- you may opt out, just like you can opt out of a ZIP code. Oops... you can't any longer, can you? One day, it scanning will be mandatory, when they have sufficiently groomed the people to submit to zee authorities.

And the amazing thing that everybody here knows: it won't help a bit. Just another effort to create parasitic jobs. The airlines themselves are trapped -- they can not longer control their own destiny. Too bad the idiots didn't listen to Gore's commission, or the Israelis, or anybody with a brain about how lame their security was in flight, or they wouldn't have helped to create this mess.

But I don't really think the stock optioned executives really give a rat's ass -- flying is down, but profits are back to stay. The era of middle class flying is just about over. I give it say three or four more years, and then it will be upper middle class and the wealthy in the air, packed like freakin' sardines.

If the lower middle class and other peons fly, it will be standing up shoulder to shoulder, like pencils in a box, forced to get a ticket in a lottery where they must submit to watching Fox News in flight.
