I do know all about that. This whole thing is an area rife with conflict, and definitely within the religious community itself. On the one hand the Biblical admonitions can't be just blithely thrown out because they're "inconvenient". On the other hand, one's spiritual being is more than a single type of sexual transgression...much more. Also, people go to some kind of church to become better people. You don't wait until you're completely without sin and then go to church, lol. That's backwards. Once we're 'perfect', we get to stop going...ha.

At any rate, everyone has the right and should seek out a spiritual home of some kind. The Bible says so. :) So personally speaking, I don't have a problem with any of these denominations and what they're trying to offer to their congregants.

At the same time, I don't have a problem with my own Church's tradional stance on the subject. Yes, that probably sounds very contradictory, but right now anyway I'm comfortable with this kind of hair-splitting in my mind.
